The Drowning Accident Rescue Team (DART) is a
non-profit, all volunteer organization which is
funded by donations, grants and
fundraising events, such as our upcoming
Crab Feed & Silent Auction.
 

Our primary mission is to save lives and recover property
from the various rivers, lakes and waterways in and around
Sacramento County.

We accomplish this mission through numerous
rescue, recovery and prevention activities.

5 of every 100,000 children in the Sacramento, CA area will be victims of a drowning accident. This is over two times the national average. Most drowning victims never intended to enter the water and Over 66% of all drownings are alcohol related.

In remembrance of all those who gave and     continue to give their lives to save others.
