A factory
representative from Kirby Morgan arrived February 12, 2011
to give hands-on training. Each student disassembled, and meticulously cleaned &
reassembled an Exo-26 Mask regulator. Each unit was also bench tested to ensure
proper gas flow. Overall, this has saved DART money,
time, effort and ensured diver safety by keeping the EXO’s in top shape. If you have any questions ask
one of our new Certified
EXO-26 Technicians: PatrickC, JerryC, GregL, RonR, JohnM, JimC, ChristineR,

EXO Communication Gear Information
Set up and operation:
1. Place a small amount of silicone grease (not sealant) on the EXO comm. line connectors (4 places).
2. Wrap electrical tape around the connector joint one
time to provide extra seal.
Fold
over the end of the tape for easy removal.
3. Keep the EXO microphone as dry as possible. The microphone is “Floodable” but when
it gets soaked
it stops working until it dries out.
4. Connecting the shore headset turns the unit on. Do not disconnect the batteries, except
to service.
5. Remove shore headset when disconnecting EXO
underwater.
Loud feedback signal may occur when the connector is wet.
Clean up and storage:
6. Place a small amount of silicone grease (not
sealant) on the EXO comm. line connectors (4 places).
Protect connectors
from dirt (sticking to the grease).
7. Dry out EXO as much as possible. Drain water from
speaker pockets.
8. Remove speakers and check for wetness. Dry out speakers as needed.
